With more than 60 years of motorcycling under his belt, through nominations, community involvement and John’s genuine passion for the sport of motorcycling – He has rightfully earned a reputation as a great rider, racer & retailer.

John Clare has proven himself to be a pillar of this community and his accomplishments speak volumes and certainly make him a Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Famer.

When it comes to people who have been instrumental in the development of the sport of motorcycling in Canada, few have had the same level of influence as John Clare.

John first opened his shop in 1955 in the small town of Fenwick, Ontario. To this day, Clare’s Cycle & Sports Ltd & Clare’s Harley-Davidson_® of Niagara are one of the largest and most successful motorcycle shops in south western Ontario.

An avid racer caring the #1 plate in his earlier days, he’s since gone on to sponsor other racers and events and has volunteered his time and resources on countless other occasions.

Not only has John Clare built a business that has stood the test of time, but he has also helped support his community, created a legacy in his region and has had a significant impact on peoples lives and the industry at large.

The people who know John Clare best describe him as a genuine, down to earth gentleman who easily connects with people and has a great passion for the sport.

His accomplishments speak volumes and certainly makes him deserving of the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame.

Please join the Niagara Chapter of HOG_® in congratulating John Clare for his induction to the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame.

To upload a new avatar:

1. Once logged in to the site, select [My Account], then [Profile], and then [Change Avatar].

2. A “Gravatar” is a global avatar that will follow you everywhere.

• To set up a Gravatar account, click the link (highly recommended).
• To set up an avatar for this site only, click [Browse]

3. Select the image on your computer that you would like to use, and then click [Open]

• Note: Images must have a .JPG .GIF or .PNG file extension and be less than 7MB in size.

4. Click [Upload Image]

• Note: If nothing seems to happen after several minutes, check the size of the file you are trying to upload.All avatars must be less than 7MB

• Note: If cropping gives you trouble, it could be causedby a conflict with other programs running on your computer. Restart your computer and try again.

Not satisfied with your new avatar? Feel free to change it as often as you like.

Alternatively, you can reset it back to the default avatar by clicking [Delete my avatar].

To change your password, simply follow these 5 steps:

Changing your password: Steps 1 ~ 3

1. Hover your mouse pointer over “My Account”, located at the top left corner of the site.

2. In the resulting drop down menu, hover you mouse pointer over “Settings”.

3. Click “General” in the resulting sub menu.

4.Type the new password that you would like to use twice (passwords must be at least 8 characters long, and must not contain spaces).

5. Click the “Save Changes” button.

That’s it.
Next time you are prompted for your password; don’t forget to use the new one that you just created.
